Academics

District 70 has a strong academic success record.

Throughout their learning path in District 70, students' studies include language arts, reading, literacy, mathematics, science, social studies, art, music, health and physical education, and world languages. They also have the opportunity to take instrumental lessons and join band and/or orchestra beginning in fourth grade. While at District 70, students will be assessed to ensure growth during their K-8 tenure.  Students are supported with social and emotional learning curriculum and personal learning which includes one-to-one devices.
